Introduction by the editor

Ladies and gentlemen,

Dear reader,

The newsletter of the UIA this time certainly focusses on the upcoming congress in Valencia, our main event in the year 2015.

We have tried to provide you with an overview of the activities of both of our commissions, regarding general legal matters as well as organization matters from the perspective of a lawyer and then certainly trying to review the activities of the UIA in the past year, as the congress obviously provides a platform where you review the past and discuss the future and our issue this time tries to initiate such discussions.

I hope to see most of you in Valencia, taking a lively part in those discussions, both during the commission meetings and certainly on all those social events where we are glad to see each other again after very often a long year in between.

I hope you all have fun and enjoy your trip to Valencia.

We will certainly reflect on the congress with our new and next coming issue of the UIA Newsletter.
