
Call for Nominations for the upcoming JRR training course for criminal justice experts on International Criminal Investigations
Justice Rapid Response (JRR) and the Institute for International Criminal Investigations (IICI) are organising their Call for Nominations for the upcoming JRR training course for criminal justice experts on International Criminal Investigations, which will be held from 10 to 20 October 2016 in Helsinki, Finland.
The goal of this 10-days training course is to increase the pool of experts that can be deployed rapidly to participate in investigations into core international crimes.
This traning course is tailored for criminal justice professionals with experience in dealing with international crimes, to prepare these professionals for investigations involving multidisciplinary,
diverse monitoring and investigative teams that can be deployed rapidly and with short reporting deadlines.
Candidates who successfully complete the training course become eligible for certification onto the JRR roster, in order to be available to assist States, as well as the United Nations and other international institutions with the jurisdiction to carry out investigations into such crimes.
Please note that attendance in all sessions of the training course is a requirement to be considered for certification to the JRR roster.
