Taxi Tehran - Nasrin Sotoudeh appears in Jafar Panahi' movie

Nasrin Sotoudeh appears in the latest film by Jafar Panahi, Taxi Tehran, in which she symbolically evokes her struggle for freedom of speech. Jafar Panahi and Nasrin Sotoudeh have both been imprisoned in the same prison for their opinions. Jafar Panahi was also sentenced to no longer practice his profession since 2010 but also to stop granting interviews to the foreign media and not to leave the country.

 

The UIA continues its commitment and follows closely the Nasrin Sodouteh case.
