The UIA Congress returns to Paris for the first time since 2007!
Paris, a mythical city, is a true source of international inspiration for many artists, photographers and musicians. Parisian monuments, with their history and impressive architecture, are undeniably part of the charm of the French capital.
Paris can be visited, but it can also be experienced: Paris is also the capital of gastronomy, fashion and shopping; a coffee on a terrace in one of the "Parisian bistros", a meal on the terrace in a brasserie, a sumptuous dinner in a gourmet restaurant... Committed to quality of life and sustainable development, the city offers a particularly pleasant environment to its inhabitants and visitors.
The hotels selected by the UIA are located in Paris, next to the Congress venue.

Direct flights serve Paris on several airlines. You can benefit from attractive rates if you book your flight online as early as possible.
The UIA will not provide shuttle services from the airport or from the train station. Charles de Gaulle international airport is located 29 km from the Palais des Congrès. It takes around 45-50 minutes to go from the airport to the Congress venue by taxi depending on traffic conditions. You can also get to the city centre by public transport. Paris has a very good urban transport network (bus, train and tram).
Dress code for the various social events:
- Opening ceremony and cocktail: business attire
- Informal evening: smart casual wear
- Gala dinner: full evening dress
- General excursion: casual wear
