Artificial Intelligence And Digitalization: A New Era For Legal Practice
The purpose of this working session will be to discuss the main legal issues arising from the impact of artificial intelligence and digitalization on international transactions.
In this joint session, the Transport Law, International Sale of Goods, Private International Law, Insurance Law and Agrifood Law Commissions will explore how AI and digitalization affect a lawyer’s practice. We will organize the session around different panels on topics such as international sale of products incorporating AI, autonomous vehicles, damages caused by AI and algorithms, impact of AI and digitalization on the supply chain, data management and profiling, dispute resolution and maritime arbitration, payment systems and financing, among others.
In this context, legal experts will share insights of their experience and shed light on issues relevant to international practitioners.
