ICC Office of the Prosecutor visited Colombia

On April 19, 2013, a delegation from the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court concluded a 5 day visit to Colombia in the context of its preliminary examination of the situation.

The purpose of the visit was to obtain additional information on measures taken by the Colombian authorities to address the key focus areas for the preliminary examination. In November 2012, the Office published an interim report summarizing its findings with respect to jurisdiction and admissibility, and outlining several areas of continuing focus.
