The intersection between Health and Family law highlights the urgent need to rethink polices and strategies that safeguard human life, family unity and dignity in the face of global enviromental crises and AI challenges. Climate change directly and indirectly impacts the health of populations and family dynamics, requiring an integrated approach that addresses the right to health, food security, housing and social well-being, particulary for vulnerable groups such as children, the elderly and women.
We will analyze Judicial cases arising from Health Law and Familly Law also relataed with the Climate Change such as :

-Disputes Over End of Life – Medical Decisions
-Medicines Access
-Custody Disputes Involving Mental Health
-Responsibility for Medical Expenses in Divorce
-Assisted Reproduction and Embryo Disputes

-Health and Climate Change’s Impact on Family Structure (malnutrition, waterborne diseases…)

The ways in which individuals and groups establish and develop family structures is receiving different legislative approaches worldwide. The effects of the evolution of medicine in family law will be the basis of a key note presentation on International Surrogacy Arrangements from Mexico. We will continue to learn about family formation, hearing from experts on surrogacy arrangements, fertility law including the enforcement of donor agreements.
