Turkey has two main legislations are titled as «Law on Payment and Security Settlement Systems, Payment Services and Electronic Money Institutions, «Regulation on Payment Services and Issuance of Electronic Money, Payment Institutions» and
«Communiqué on the Management and Inspection of Information Systems of Payment and Electronic Money Institutions» governed by Turkish Banking Regulation and Supervision Authority (BRSA) and «Regulation on the Activities of Payment and Security Reconciliation Systems» and «Regulation on Supervision of Payment and Security Reconciliation Systems» governed by Turkish Central Bank which provide protections to all concerns within the general framework of PSD1.
