Agreements resulting from mediation are more likely to be complied with voluntarily”, as EU directive 2008/52/EC hopes but enforcement of a settlement agreement has to be considered anyway. Goal achieved in EU in case of enforcement of cross border mediations agreements? An overview on European domestic legislation and a comparison with Singapore Convention and its framework in order to get agreements effective and enforceable.
