This seminar, based on the efforts of the UIA Biotechnology Law Commission and the University of Science & Technology of China, will be hosted in Hefei, China on September 1-2, 2016. It will focus on Homology of Medicine and Food: New Legislation and New Policy in the Era of Genes. In addition to exploring theoretical and practical issues in modern medical technology, it will also discuss new opportunities and new challenges following the 2015 Nobel Prize for Chinese traditional medicine.

Hefei, the capital and largest city of Anhui Province in Central China, is also China's top quantum tech center and the node city in “one belt one road.” Come to this beautiful and historic city, which will not only take you to the forefront of biotechnology development, but also initiate a profound discussion of the foreseeable influence of integration of modern biotechnology and Chinese traditional medicine.
