The UIA is organising the UIA Bar Leaders' Briefing at the United Nations headquarters in New York on June 28, 2018.

This special meeting wil be sponsored by the Permanent Mission of Portugal to the United Nations.

The UIA Bar Leaders' Briefing is a unique opportunity to meet colleagues and representatives of international associations in a highly symbolic location. It is also an opportunity to get up-to-date information on the discussions underway in the United Nations on the subject of international law.

A special focus on Modern Day Slavery will provide insights on the international legal issues raised by this topic.
