A tort is a civil wrong for which a remedy, usually monetary damages, may be awarded.
The members of the Tort Commission meet together to discuss this field, which pervades almost all aspects of the law, including issues of contract, personal and property law and other matters regarding personal rights.
The Commission members seek to understand how lawyers in all of our many and varied jurisdictions approach and resolve these and similar issues, from the standpoint of both claimant and respondent.
