The pandemic has severely impacted the air transportation industry and the rights of passengers and shippers, resulting in a flight cancellation policy adopted by the vast majority of air carriers. Some countries have passed legislatures which offer the option of vouchers by carriers, and qualify those as overriding mandatory rules. Five law experts will discuss, with a hands-on approach and practical reference to cases, the private international law issues along with the substantive and regulatory problems related to the matter.
