Presentation

The World Forum of Mediation Centres was created in 2001 by the Mediation and Conflict Prevention Commission of the UIA. It brings together the most important commercial mediation practitioners and ADR centres from around the world and offers an occasion to exchange views on the development of ADR and best practices.

The meeting in Krakow will be the 23rd since the creation of the Forum.

This meeting is expected to be exceptional. The city of Krakow is fantastic and the various sessions of the Forum promise to be again stimulating and attractive. You do not want to miss this opportunity to learn and enhance your practice with your mediator colleagues. Mediators coming from all over the world – Europe, Asia, Australia, USA, Africa – will speak about specific topics such as consumer mediation, mediation with vulnerable parties, power of the narrative and the influence it has on the resolution of disputes, Med-Arb, intercultural mediation, mediation as part of organizational conflict management strategies.

Forum organised by the UIA with the support of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, The Polish Bar Council and the Mediation Centre
