Statutes and regulations

The UIA Statutes set out the association’s general rules and principles. Their purpose is to affirm the association’s objectives and to define how the association is organised, as well as the remits and responsibilities of the UIA’s various bodies.

Internal Regulations

The purpose of the UIA’s Internal Regulations is to clarify and/or complement its statutes. The Regulations contain the practical rules for running the association, which need to be continually adapted in response to structural changes.
