A confirmation by email will be sent by the UIA for each registration received with the full payment of the registration fees. In the event you do not receive our email within 7 days, please contact us to find out the status of your registration.

Members of the legal profession cannot be registered as accompanying persons for the congress. Accompanying persons are not authorised to attend the scientific sessions. To be able to participate in the social activities, accompanying persons need to have registered and paid the corresponding registration fees. They will be given a special badge.

Your registration will only be confirmed after the full payment of the registration fees.

Registration fees

The registration fees for UIA members or non members include the following*:

  • Opening ceremony and welcome cocktail at the Teatro della Pergola, on October 29, 2014,
  • Informal reception at the Stazione Leopolda, on October 30, 2014,
  • Closing ceremony at the Palazzo dei Congressi, on November 1, 2014,
  • Working sessions (Main theme, commissions and working groups), except for accompanying persons,
  • Lunches and coffee breaks, on October 30, 31 and November 1, 2014, except for the registration for law students,
  • Congress bag (for congress participants only),
  • Access to the exhibition area.

All the participants are requested to mention the activities in which they wish to participate, whether or not they are included in the congress registration fees. For activities that are not included in the registration fees, no registration shall be made until the full payment for the concerned activity has been received.

* Except in the case of one-day registrations, for law students or accompanying persons.


Access for people with restricted mobility

As the access to some venues might not be very easy for people with restricted mobility, please kindly indicate in the appropriate section of the registration form whether you need any particular attention.


Exhibition Area

The congress partners will be at the Palazzo dei Congressi during the entire event to present their products and services. The list of the congress partners and exhibitors will be available on the UIA Website, Florence congress section.


Congress reports

The reports received in electronic format by the UIA will be available on the UIA Website,, Florence congress section, for all registered participants who have paid their registration fees.

Helpful tip

You will also have the opportunity throughout the Congress to download directly all the reports and other documents of the congress scientific sessions, using the Wifi connection that will be available at the Palazzo dei Congressi, or via the mini website dedicated to the Florence congress.


In order to obtain credits for continuing legal education purposes, depending on national rules, each participant attending the congress may download his / her “Certificate of Participation” after the Congress ends through “My UIA” section at For more information, please contact the UIA.
